சிகாகோ தமிழ்ச் சங்கம்  1969 -ல் இருந்து சிகாகோ பெருநகரில் வாழும் தமிழ் மக்களுக்குத் தங்கள் பாரம்பரியம், மொழி மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்தைப் பேணிக் காக்கும் ஒரு தளமாகவும், இன்றைய மற்றும் அடுத்தத் தலைமுறையினர் தங்கள் கலை, பண்பாடு, இலக்கியம், இயல், இசை, நாடகம் போன்ற அறிவுச்சார்த் திறமைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும் ஒரு அமைப்பாகவும், இங்கும் இந்தியாவிலும் தொண்டார்வம் உள்ள மக்களுடனும், சகத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களுடனும் சேர்ந்து உதவிக் கரம் நீட்டிச் சமூகச் சேவை செய்யும் ஒரு அமைப்பாகவும் செயல் பட்டு வருகிறது.

ஆண்டுதோறும் பொங்கல் விழா, முத்தமிழ் விழா, குழந்தைகள் தின விழா மற்றும் விளையாட்டு தின விழா என்று பொழுதுபோக்கும், விழிப்புணர்வும் ஊட்டும் பல்வேறு, பற்சுவை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை வழங்குதிறது. நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் ஆடல், பாடல், நடனம், நாடகம், மேடைப் பேச்சு, கவிதை, விவாத மேடை, பட்டி மன்றம், பலகுரல் விகடம், விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் ஆகியவை குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் பெரியவர்கள் பங்கேற்று அனைவரும் ரசிக்கும் வகையில் நடத்தி வருகிறது.

Chicago Tamil Sangam was established in September 1969 and since then serving the Chicago Tamil community.

• To unite the Tamils living in the Greater Chicago area, fostering their commitment to the promotion of Tamil Values, Art, and Language.
• To provide equal opportunities and a forum for the future generation of Tamils to participate, learn and grow in the rich heritage of the Tamil Language and Culture.
• To reach out to the Chicago Tamil Community on social issues affecting individuals and the community at large both locally and in Tamil Nadu
